FORT KENT – Louis P. Rioux Sr., 82, died Jan. 10, 2010, at a Frenchville health care facility. He was born May 3, 1927, in Fort Kent, the son of Henry and Edith (Daigle) Rioux. He is survived by his children, Pamela Sue (Rioux) Tameo of Rhode Island, Louis Philip Rioux Jr. of Oklahoma, Linda Marie (Rioux) Furtado of Rhode Island, Rene Joseph Rioux of California, Robin (Rioux) Snyder of Ohio, Penny (Rioux) Navarro of California and Rebecca Joyce Rioux of California; 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Reginald Rioux and Henry Rioux. Friends may call 9 a.m. Friday until the time of services at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring interment will be held May 18, at the parish cemetery.
