CHERRYFIELD – Marilyn “Sis” A. Perry, 63, wife of the late Kenneth Perry, died peacefully Jan. 12, 2010, surrounded by her family and close friends, at her residence, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Cherryfield, the daughter of Merrill and Blanche (Morse) Tucker. Marilyn was a graduate of Cherryfield Academy, Class of 1965. She was a very talented woman with many crafts; she especially enjoyed wreath making and working the blueberry harvest in Deblois. Sis was a NASCAR enthusiast and an Earnhardt faithful. She is survived by one son, Randy Perry and his wife, Kathy, of Cherryfield; two grandsons, whom she loved dearly, Jordan and Chad Perry of Cherryfield – they were “Gamma’s boys”; her mother, Blanche Tucker of Cherryfield; two brothers, Nathan Tucker and his wife, Rita, of Milbridge and Robin Tucker of Jonesport; one nephew, Tim Tucker and his wife, Janet, of Milbridge; one niece, April Grant and her husband, Brian, of Milbridge; sisters-in-law, Jane Perry, Eunice Perry and Roxanne McKenna; many other nieces, nephews and cousins; one dog, Champ III; and cats, DJ and Ms. Kitty. Marilyn will be missed by her family and special friends, Susie and Rod Morse, Mary and Doug Smith, Diane and Arnold Gray, Stan Wilbur, and Jim and Lill Couture. In addition to her husband, whom she loved dearly and missed every day, and her father, she was predeceased by an infant son, Warren. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Main Street, Milbridge. A graveside service will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Morse Cemetery, Cherryfield.
