ST. DAVID – Armand Jalbert, 65, passed away Jan. 17, 2010, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born June 19, 1944, in St. Basile, New Brunswick, the son of Eddie and Anita (Martin) Jalbert. Armand was a third degree member of Knights of Columbus, St. Basile, New Brunswick. Armand is survived by his wife of 43 years, Blanche (Deschaine) Jalbert of St. David; one daughter, Michelle Simeone of St. David; one grandson, Brenden Simeone, of St. David; three sisters, Lorraine Bosse and her husband, Lucien, of Gardner, Mass., Germaine Clavette and her husband, Roland, of Wallingford, Conn., and Pierrette Stiles and her husband, Lincoln, of Ashburnham, Mass.; nine brothers, Leonard Jalbert and his wife, Constance, Barthy Jalbert and his wife, Gerene, Rino Jalbert and his wife, Annette, Fernand Jalbert and his wife, Carla, Martin Jalbert, Bertrand Jalbert and his wife, Martha, Richard Jalbert, all of Gardner, Mass., Ronald Jalbert and his wife, Gloria, of Baldwinville, Mass., and Jacques Jalbert and his wife, Kathy, of Winchendon, Mass.; many nieces and nephews. Armand was predeceased by his parents; and by one brother, Norman Jalbert. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at St. David Church. Family and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be held at the parish cemetery later in the spring.
