HAMLIN – Russell G. Ouellette, 67, died Jan. 19, 2010, at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by his loving family and partner of 28 years, Jackie Pelletier. He was born April 7, 1942, in Cyr Plantation, the son of Leo A. and Gertrude (Martin) Ouellette. He worked as a plumber in the construction field and also as a farm laborer for area farmers for many years. He is survived by his companion, Jackie Pelletier of Hamlin; two daughters, Wanda Tribbie and companion, Lee, of Charleston, W.Va., and Brenda Ouellette and companion, Michel, of Edmundston, New Brunswick; one son, Wayne Ouellette of Hamlin; two stepchildren, Judy Dumond of Van Buren and Dennis Pelletier of Jay; five brothers, Donald Ouellette and wife, Carmen, Gordon Ouellette and wife, Gloria, and Roland Ouellette, all of Van Buren, James Ouellette and wife, Dot, of Lewiston and Ken Ouellette and wife, Linda, of Cyr Plantation; two sisters, Janet “Babe” LaPierre and husband, Andy, of Cyr Plantation and Linda Cormier and husband, Dave, of Albuquerque, N.M.; 10 grandchildren, Lee Tribbie, Mathew, Sherry, Corey, Stephan, Ryan, Autum, John Jr., Amanda and Emily; many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Armand and Roger Ouellette; stepdaughter, Paula Pelletier; and stepdaughter-in-law, Shauna Pelletier. Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
