WATERVILLE and MAPLETON – Bryan Boyles, 54, passed away very unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1955, in Presque Isle, the son of Murrey and Ardis (Condon) Boyles. Bryan was a graduate of Presque Isle High School, Class of 1973. He was employed by MaineGeneral Hospital – Thayer Unit, where he worked as a mental health professional. Bryan was very fond of the outdoors, especially enjoying hunting and fishing in the county. He and his wife, Edna, although bad at it, enjoyed golfing as often as possible, as well as many drives to the coast of Maine. Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Edna (Dow) Boyles; youngest daughter, Elizabeth of Waterville; daughter, Dayna and her husband, Tom, of New York; sons, Andrew and Carter of Orrington; and three stepchildren, Jillian and her husband, Steve, Christina and her husband, Roy, all of Arizona, and Beau of Pennsylvania. He also is survived by his father, Murrey of Mapleton; as well as brother, Brent and his wife, Duska, of Mapleton; and sisters, Tamra and her husband, Dan Robertson, of Colby Siding, Torry and her husband, Mike Eaton, of Mapleton and Trudy and her husband, Dale DeBlois, of Winthrop. Bryan was predeceased by his mother, Ardis; and an infant brother, Teremy. The family thanks the staff of MaineGeneral Hospital – Thayer, LifeFlight and Eastern Maine Medical Center CCU. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan 27, with the Rev. Dot Matson and the Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. Spring interment will be held at South Side Cemetery, Mapleton.
