FORT FAIRFIELD – Emmett J. Morgan, 80, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at a Caribou hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1930, son of Milton and Angeline (Hutton) Morgan. He leaves behind his loving wife of more than 45 years, Theresa (Breault) Morgan. Emmett worked for many years as a painter and in construction. He was a devoted family man, who always put his family first. Emmett was also very artistic, and enjoyed drawing, painting and building model boats. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; 11 children, Gail and her husband, Wiley Lopez, of Winthrop, Conn., Neil and his wife, Sandy Begin, of Van Buren, Roger Begin of Connecticut, Donna and her husband, Steve Dionne, of Van Buren, Ann and her husband, Paul Parady, of Fort Fairfield, Patrick and his wife, Hope Morgan, of Caswell, Bryan and his special friend, Rhonda Morgan, of Limestone, Nancy and her husband, Rudy Martin, of Caswell, Dennis and his wife, Lisa Morgan, of Windsor, Conn., Theresa Bruce of Pawlet, Vt., and Paul Morgan and his fiancee, Ashley Martin, of Fort Fairfield; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Emmett was predeceased by his parents. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou, where a memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Jean Paul Labrie, celebrant. There will be refreshments after the services at Fort Fairfield Veterans of Foreign Wars.
