HARPSWELL – Lynda L. Ring, 64, of Allen Point Road, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. She was at home with her family at the time she went home to the Lord. She was employed by BlueTarp Financial. She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Pamela; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, 12, Rachel, 10, Alex, 8, Andrew, 3, all of Woodland; son, Scott, and girlfriend, Melanie LaPoint, of Castine; brother, John White and his wife, Anne, of Greene; brother, Scott White and his wife, Maryanne, of Durham; and sister, Sandy Samartine and husband, John, of Palm City, Fla. Her husband, John C. Ring Jr., predeceased her Aug. 10, 2002. A service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Lisbon Falls Baptist Church, Route 196, Lisbon Falls. A reception will be after at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in care of Lynda to American Cancer Society or Chans Home Healthcare Services. Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
