CARMEL – William Joseph Provost was born Aug. 9, 1959, and died unexpectedly at age 50, Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. Billy was predeceased by his father, Joseph Provost. He is survived by his son, Jason Bragg; grandson, Hunter of Brewer; mother, Helen Provost McDonald of Carmel; four sisters, Karen Brewer and husband, Rich, of Arizona, Ellen Goodine of Hampden, Susan Provost of Hermon and Linda Luce and husband, Richard, of Carmel; nieces, Meagan Goodine of Hampden and Alanna Reichert of Arizona; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. The family thanks Eastern Maine Medical Center Intensive Care Unit staff for their excellent care and compassion. A service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Carmel Union Congregational Church.
