CARIBOU and CEDAR HILL, Texas – Dale Alan Haywood, 41, of Cedar Hill, Texas, died very unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, from complications of diabetes and went to be with Jesus. He was born Sept. 9, 1968, at Kadina Air Force Base, Okinawa, son of the late Perry A. Haywood and Bonnie Nedeau Haywood, and youngest grandson of the late Wilbur and Janette Nedeau. Dale was a very hard working and loving individual – a gentle giant. He worked 10 years for Goodwill Industries International, Dallas, and worked locally for Home Depot until he died. He was a Royal Ranger Commander and very active in North Texas District Frontier Camping Fellowship. In the Shawnee Trail Chapter, he was known as the tent maker. Dale enjoyed the lifestyle of the Frontier era and made many long-term friendships. He leaves to mourn his mother, Bonnie Haywood; his wife, Laura Hindman Haywood; his brother, Dean, all of Cedar Hill, Texas; and two uncles, Ronald and Donald Nedeau of Limestone. Services were held at Abundant Life Assembly of God, Grand Prairie, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
