CARIBOU – Paul Albert, 79, died March 5, 2010, in Caribou. He was born July 3, 1930, in Caribou, son of the late Eugene and Eva (Cowette) Albert. Mr. Albert served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a self-employed carpenter in the Caribou area for many years before he retired. He is survived by five brothers, Lawrence Albert of Caribou, Ernest Albert of West Hartford, Conn., Francis Albert of Blaine, Chester Albert of Camden and William Albert of Meriden, Conn.; three sisters, Evangeline of Ipswich, N.H., Juliana of Laconia, N.H., and Veronica of Bristol, Conn.; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Albert was predeceased by his wife, Anita (St. Peter) Albert, April 24, 1984; several brothers and sisters. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be at Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
