ALEXANDER – Cleo E. Seavey, 74, passed away March 9, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at her residence, after a brief illness. She was born May 12, 1935, in Ludlow. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Seavey; her parents; a sister, Myrtie Cameron; brother-in-law, John Earle; grandson, Patrick Blake; and a niece, Chandra Thibodeau. Survivors include her sons, Herbert Blake and wife, Susan, of New Gloucester, Gary Blake and wife, Julie, of Eau Claire, Wis., and Clayton Blake and wife, Catherine, of Alexander; a daughter, Lisa Sturm and husband, Jeffery, of Streamwood, Ill.; sister, Joye Earle of North New Portland and Auburn; brother-in-law, Joe Cameron of Florida; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins; a special niece, Lorraine Blake of Poland; and special friends, Cokie Wills, Marion Leavitt, Jolene Thornton, Sally Doten, Dennis Thibodeau, Dale Wunder and Christopher Wallace. At Cleo’s request, there will be no funeral. There will be a private committal in the spring at Alexander Cemetery.
