HERMON and PLANTATION, Fla. – Troy D. Soderberg, 37, died March 14, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident in Florida. He was born Aug. 18, 1972, in Portland, son of Eric and Sharon (Garbe) Soderberg. Troy graduated from Hermon High School in 1990 and from the University of Maine, Orono, in 1994. His chosen vocation was Web design. He enjoyed working with computers and motorcycles. Troy is survived by his parents, Eric Soderberg and Debbie Risinger of Hermon, Sharon Soderberg and Steve Manter of Bangor; his sister and her husband, Nicole and Andrew Mandlsohn of Toronto; two nieces, Talia and Alexa; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and extended family, Mark and Michelle Risinger. A service of remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the service at Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor.
