BANGOR and NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. – Ruth Perry Pinkham, 94, formerly of Bangor, died peacefully March 22, 2010, at home in North Palm Beach, Fla., with her family. She was born Jan. 25, 1916, in Orono, the daughter of Charles Minot and Johanna Kelleher Perry. Ruth was the wife of the late Frederick W. Pinkham. Both were educators in the Bangor public school system for decades. She was predeceased by a brother, James Kelleher Perry; and sister, Mary Perry Litke. She is survived by a daughter, Martha Pinkham Warren; a son-in-law, Roy G. Warren Sr.; and grandchildren, Nicole Warren Fuller and her husband, James Fuller Jr., Ian M. “Mac” Warren, and Roy G. Warren Jr. She saw the fulfillment of faith through her great-grandchildren, Caroline Lee Fuller and Jack Warren Fuller. Ruth also cherished and loved her grandchildren’s other “Nana,” Dorothy Cole Warren of Bangor. Thanks to First United Methodist Church of Bangor and Trinity United Methodist Church of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for a loving community in Christ. The family also thanks Drs. Doru and Sylvia Barza, Dr. Joel E. Cohen and Dr. Andrew Levy. If you can donate to your local hospice organization – give. If you can hug a hospice worker – do it. If you woke up this morning feeling very small – find someone who needs help and help them! That may well change their day and it might change your life. A service of celebration will be held in Maine in late spring with burial in Lincoln, where she will join her beloved late husband, “Pink.”
