EXETER – Vivian Flossie Field, 69, died March 27, 2010, at her home. She was born June 8, 1940, in Dexter, the daughter of Willis and Cenith (Nolan) Woodard. Vivian worked for Eastland Woolen Mill, Corinna, and Dexter Shoe Co., Dexter. Vivian received an associate degree from Bangor Community College and graduated from Eastern Maine Medical Center School of Nursing. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Eastern Maine Medical Center and in home health care. She is survived by two sons, Leon Maloon and his wife, Nancy, of Ripley and Robert Field of Exeter; two daughters, Sharon Field of Exeter and Helen Grass and her partner, Pokey, of Lincoln; a brother, Stanley Woodard of Worcester, Mass.; many half brothers and half sisters, 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; two foster daughters, Lisa Bemis and Myrna Shaw; and two dear friends, Doris Larrabee and Howard Shaw. She was predeceased by her husband, Elwood “Chubby” Field. There will be no public services at this time. Burial will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
