HERMON – Pauline E. Hoover, 89, passed peacefully April 1, 2010, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was born in Hermon. Pauline was a devoted member of San Juan del Rio Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, with the Arts and Crafts Club and St. Joseph’s Young at Heart Club. She worked for AT&T for many years and she will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Pauline leaves behind to cherish her memory: loving husband of 65 years, Michael C. Hoover; sister, Catherine Baron; many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will accept friends 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 4, at Hardage Giddens Mandarin Chapel, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Fla., where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 5. Interment will take place at Jacksonville Memory Garden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Woods on Julington Creek. Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens Mandarin Chapel.
