MADAWASKA – Lawrence Myers, 91, passed away April 2, 2010, at his residence. He was born Nov. 27, 1918, in St. Quentin, New Brunswick, son of the late Percy and Anna (Theriault) Myers. Lawrence was predeceased by his loving wife, Laurendy “Candy” Myers, in February 2005. He is survived by seven sons, Ronald and his wife, Linda, of Berlin, Conn., Jack and his wife, Angelique, of St. Jacques, New Brunswick, John and his wife, Mado, of Hilton Head, S.C., David and his wife, Katie, of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Jim and his wife, Renee, of Jefferson, Md., Lawrence Jr. and his wife, Beth, of Frederick, Md., and Ricky and his companion, Keith, of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Lorraine and her husband, James, of Tucson, Ariz., and Joan and her husband, Louis, of Edmundston, New Brunswick; one sister, Kate Violette of Madawaska; one brother, Lewis Myers of Windsor, Conn.; 18 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 8, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. There will be no viewing hours. Interment will be held in July at the parish cemetery.
