CRYSTAL – Brooks J. “Uncle Bub” Skinner, 33, died April 7, 2010, in Houlton. He was born Nov. 16, 1976, in Houlton, the son of F. Michael and Caroline (Leighton) Skinner. He was a graduate of Southern Aroostook Community High School and enjoyed singing in a band, dirt biking, four-wheeling, anything fast, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents of Crystal, he is survived by one brother, Ashley and his wife, Kimberli, of Crystal; two nieces and one nephew, Brooke, Parker and Emily Skinner; maternal grandmother, Rose Leighton of Patten; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and his lifelong friend, Jason Slauenwhite. At Brooks’ request, there will be no services at this time. Remembrances may be sent to the family. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
