MILLINOCKET – Donald Richard Walsh, 83, went to be with our Lord April 10, 2010. Dick was born in Millinocket, the son of James and Beatrice (Brown) Walsh. Dick was a millwright for many years at Great Northern Paper Co. and also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. Dick is survived by his stepdaughter, Linda Tofeldt and her husband, John, of Perry, Mo.; a stepgranddaughter, Leah and her mate, Al, of Tory, Mo.; a brother, Jack of Brooklyn, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dick was predeceased by his wife, Edith (Nickerson) Walsh; a stepson, George Andy Robbins; and two brothers, Charles “Red” and Jim.
