ALTON – James J. Murphy passed away peacefully April 5, 2010. He was born Oct. 10, 1930, the son of Mary Rosella and Thomas Murphy. James is survived by his brothers and sisters. Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. April 16 at Riverside Cemetery, Orono. There will be a gathering for everyone at Dick Murphy’s house after the service. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to Eastern Maine Medical Center Dialysis Unit.
