BANGOR – Yvonne Jean Casey, 87, wife of 49 years to the late George J. Casey, died April 16, 2010, at a Bangor health care center. She was born Jan. 19, 1923, in Bangor, daughter of William D. and Florence (Russell) Lambert. Yvonne was a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle, St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor, and a member of Senior Citizens of Bangor. Surviving are one daughter, Gloria J. Wallace of Indiana; four grandchildren, Joe, Julie, Chris and Susan; 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins; and very dear, close friends, Florence and Bernard Plourde of Bangor. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Friends are welcome to call 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor.
