ASHLAND – Leroy E. Walls, 72, passed away April 15, 2010. He was born June 1, 1937, in West Tremont. He grew up in Otter Creek and spent the majority of his life in Bucksport, where he worked for 38 years at the Bucksport paper mill until his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents, Milton Sr. and Zulma (Wentworth) Walls; his sisters, Leatrice Gilley and Wilma Seavey; his brother, Stuart; and his son, Darren. He is survived by his devoted wife, Opal; his brothers, Edgar, Milton Jr., Alonzo, Frank and William; sisters, Ida Page and Karen Jean Gilley; his children, Marcia, Janet, Dennis, Lisa and Katrina; stepchildren, Sherry and Danny; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Interment will be held 2 p.m. April 24 at Otter Creek Cemetery with a celebration of life 3 p.m. at Otter Creek Hall, Main Street, Otter Creek.
