STETSON – Judy Porter, 68, died April 26, 2010, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 9, 1942, in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of Lloyd and Clara (Smith) Osgood. She married John Porter, June 16, 1962, and moved to Maine in 1965. Judy loved camping and going for rides on the back roads up north. In addition to her husband of Stetson, she is survived by her children, Lori York and husband, Scott, of Brewer, Beth Leighton and husband, Gary, of Exeter, John D. and wife, Karen Porter, of North Carolina, Sue Ham and husband, Scott, of Levant, and Jeffrey Porter of St. Albans; and grandchildren, Bekka, Kristen, Bronson, Nick, Bub and Courtney. The family thanks all of the friends who came into Judy’s life and also to the doctors, nurses and staff in the area who helped in her care when called upon. Friends and family are invited for a time of remembrance 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Sue and Scott’s home, 78 French Road, Levant.
