At Castleton, Vt., Tom Desjardins of Fort Kent went 3-for-6 with three RBIs and two runs scored to lead a 19-hit Thomas College attack as the Terriers pounded Husson in Friday’s North Atlantic Conference playoff game.
Thomas jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the third inning and never looked back.
Mike Busa, Tim Costa and Jeffrey Richardson each had three hits for the Terriers. Desjardins doubled twice and singled once. Nickerson had a double and two singles.
