Does the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico mean new off-shore oil extraction will be on hold
for years? Should the leak, and the environmental disaster it is causing, be a cautionary
tale for such extraction? Or can these sorts of problems be averted with better
technology? Has the Obama administration responded quickly and effectively enough?
