ORONO – Mary E. (Phillips) Dyer passed away Monday, May 3, 2010, in Westbrook. Mary was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Woodstock First Nation, Woodstock, New Brunswick, the daughter of Andrew M. Phillips and Mary Cecelia Deveau. Mary is survived by her three children, Linda Knowlton of Veazie, Richard Dyer of Monticello and Carol Lemay of Saco; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family thanks Springbrook Center and Hospice staff for all of the kind comfort they afforded Mary in her final days, and to thank Mom and creator for this life.
