HOULTON – LeRoy P. Tomah, 71, died May 10, 2010, at a Boston hospital. He was born April 10, 1939, in Houlton, the son of Charles and Minnie (Clark) Tomah. Roy was a member of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church, was a Houlton Band of Maliseet Tribal Elder member and past tribal council member. Roy is survived by his children, Alicia Tomah, Amy Tomah, Michael Tomah and LeRoy Tomah Jr., all of Houlton, and Warren Faulkner of Easton; eight grandchildren, Warren Williams, Brady and Colby Tomah, Nicholas, Kaylee and Emma Folsom, Marissa Boyce, and Desiree Dorr; brother, William Tomah of Houlton; two sisters, Debbie Atwin of Kings Clear, New Brunswick, and Gloria Tomah of Houlton; the mother of his children, Dianne Faulkner; many nieces and nephews. Roy is also survived by a special friend, Sue Sennett. He was predeceased by his parents; five brothers, Paul, George, Dean, John and Monte; and two sisters, Geraldine Haney and Mae Kelly. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with the Rev. David Raymond, celebrant.
