ST. AGATHA – Laurette Franck, 96, died peacefully May 11, 2010, at Ridgewood Estates, Madawaska. She was born Oct. 6, 1913, in Frenchville, the daughter of Josephel and Flavie (Sirois) Bourgoin. She was a member of Ladies of St. Anne and Senior Citizen Club, and owned Long Lake Sporting Club with her husband, Joseph Franck, until their retirement. She is survived by one son, Roger A. Daigle and his wife, Jenny, of Connecticut; one grandson, Todd and his wife, Michelle; two great-grandchildren, Emely and Chad Daigle; one stepson, Bertrand Franck of Bristol, Conn.; four stepdaughters, Jeanelle Albert and Roberta Martin of Bristol, Conn., and Carol Chamberland and Diane Franck of Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Alphie C. Daigle; and her second, Joseph Franck; one sister, Lillian Chasse; and one brother, Louis Bourgoin. Friends and relatives may call 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Michaud Funeral Home, St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Valley Church, St. Agatha, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Louis Cemetery, Fort Kent.
