MILBRIDGE – Elaine “Lanie” M. Ouellette, 72, died May 16, 2010, at a Milbridge health care facility. She was born May 28, 1937, in South Addison, the daughter of Clayton Jr. and Ella (Guptill) Look. Lanie enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, bingo, knitting, animals and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her husband as he played in many bands. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alfred Ouellette; four children, Royce Oliver and his wife, Kathy, of Florida, Clayton Oliver and his wife, Nancy, of Hancock, Dawn Hayford and her husband, Bobby, of Glenburn, and Patrick Oliver and his wife, Florence, of Columbia Falls; six stepchildren, Glenn, Debra, Timothy, Steven, Christina and Gregory Ouellette, all of Bradley; one daughter-in-law, Cheri Oliver; several grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Jamie Marie Oliver; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Laura Merrill of Milbridge; one brother-in-law, Nelson Ouellette of Milford; three sisters-in-law, Lorraine Mace of Rockland, Gloria Dionne of Brewer and Betty Look of Cherryfield; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and one special friend, Rodney Mitchell Sr. and his special friend, Georgia, and his son, Rodney Mitchell Jr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Stephen Oliver; one brother, Merlin Look; and stepmother, Beatrice Look.
