LEE – Warren L. Hasson, 86, husband of Catherine (Soucy) Hasson, died May 17, 2010, at a Lincoln health care facility. He was born June 3, 1923, in Masardis, the son of Linwood and Mary Ann (Nason) Hasson. Warren was a graduate of Lee Academy, Class of 1941. He served as a mule skinner in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a game warden for 17 years. After his retirement, he and his wife spent time rock hunting, cutting and polishing rocks to make jewelry. He was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors. In addition to his wife, Catherine of Lee, he is survived by a son, Mark Hasson and his wife, Peggy, of West Enfield; two grandsons, Patrick Hasson and his fiancee, Mindy Ogilvie, and Matthew Hasson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Albert Hasson; and two sisters, Velma Peters and Dorothea Jordan. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee.
