EAGLE LAKE – Leonel Dube Sr., 72, died peacefully May 17, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born July 14, 1937, at Eagle Lake, the son of Leo and Rosanne (Bouchard) Dube. Leonel moved to West Enfield, in 1957, where he started a trucking business, Dube Sons & Daughters Trucking, all of his children are involved in the family business. He was a fourth degree member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 1876, Lincoln. Leonel was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Jane (Bouchard) Dube of Eagle Lake; his five children all of the West Enfield area, John and his wife, Debbie Dube, Leonel Dube Jr., one special daughter-in-law, Chantal Dube, Lori and her husband, Dale Phillips Sr., Lawrence and his wife, Melinda Dube, Anita and her husband, Percy Crawford; 12 grandchildren, Amanda and her husband, Danny Dunn, Cassie Dube and her fiance, James Fostun, Derrick and wife, Brenda Dube, Wade and his wife, Brandi, John Phillips, Dale Phillips Jr., David Dube, Kayla Dube, Holden Soucier and his fianc?e, Annie Stevens, Lucas Soucier, Cierra Crawford and Percy Crawford Jr. “P.J.”; five great-grandchildren, Colin Dunn, Caiden Dunn, Isabella Fostun, Bryce Soucier and Kaneshia Dube; three brothers, Lucien and Roland of the West Enfield area and Donald of Eagle Lake; five sisters, Norma Torza, Clair Gagnon, Leonette Dube, all of Connecticut, Deloris Paradis and Jean Famigletti, both of Eagle Lake; and his loving aunts, Leonette Michaud of Fort Kent and Jean Woods of Bristol, Conn. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In addition to both his parents, he was predeceased by an infant daughter, Diane Dube; stepmother, Jeanne Dube; one brother, James Dube; and one sister, Marie Dube. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of departure for Eagle Lake at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake, with the Rev. James Nadeau officiating.
