CLINTON and HOULTON – Margaret “Dolly” Suitter, 81, died May 18, 2010, surrounded by her family at her home in Clinton. She was born June 18, 1928, in Oakfield, the daughter of Alfred and Eliza (Tibbitts) Chambers. Dolly was a member of Houlton First Baptist Church and attended Clinton Methodist Church. She was a member of the Houlton and Clinton Rebekah’s and Clinton Grange. She enjoyed square dancing and going camping with her family. Dolly is survived by her six children, Linda Thorne of Clinton, who took wonderful care of Dolly during her illness, Donna McGillicuddy and her husband, Charles, Emily Reece and her husband, Robert, Keith Suitter, all of Houlton, Edwin Gerald “Jerry” Suitter II and his wife, Elizabeth, of North Carolina and Timothy Suitter of Houlton; nine grandchildren, Karri, Marci, Corey, Alison, Jonathan, Kristen, Michelle, Tamecka and Paul; 11 great-grandchildren, Drew Ann, Brandon, Garrett, Samuel, Ella, Molly, Alyssa, Aiden, David, Shaylee and Shayne; nine brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Edwin G. Suitter, in 2008; five brothers and five sisters. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Art Myers officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
