ORANGE PARK, Fla. – Donald E. Perry, 84, passed away in the early hours of May 19, 2010, in Orange Park, Fla., where he had resided for the past nine years. He was born Nov. 28, 1925, in Robbinston. He spent most of his adult life in Maine, having served in World War II. He continued his military service in the Army Air Corps and the Maine National Guard. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Postmaster in 1985 in Stockton Springs, after more than 30 years of service. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Susan P. Burtt and Larry of Orange Park, Fla., Marilyn P. Tracy and Gerry of Falmouth and Alan D. Perry and Elizabeth of Jacksonville, Fla.; precious grandchildren, Erin Tracy of Atlanta, Andrew Burtt of Orange Park, Fla., Alan, Ryan and Laura Perry of Jacksonville, Fla.; and brother, Dale Perry of Robbinston. There will be no viewing. A memorial and graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Fla.
