The L Factor Salon on Wilson Street in Brewer has been celebrating “Sex and the City 2” Month with special savings for all of May. Savings on retail products, custom color cosmos at the Color Bar, and “Sex in the Sinky” in the salon’s Lather Lounge are all offered as well as “Sex and the City” trivia questions — correct answers win you $10 off your service. A limited number of spaces are available for services today and over the weekend; call 989-5515. After the 7 p.m. showing of the movie at Bangor Mall Cinemas on Friday, the L Factor will host an after party at Luna Bar & Grille on Park Street in downtown Bangor. Emmaculate Designs and Flophouse Records co-host the party, featuring DJ Evie D. One dollar from each cosmopolitan and flirtini sold will go to the Northern New England Division of The ALS Association.

Before Saturday night’s screening, L’Aperitif, located on Broad Street in Bangor, will offer a happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. with special cocktails.

Ruby Tuesday restaurants in the area will offer a special “Sex and the City 2” package today through June 13. Cosmopolitans for $5 and other premium cocktails will be available every day as well as a free appetizer with a $10 purchase when a coupon — provided in today’s Lifestyle section — is presented.

A limited number of tickets are still available for a VIP package for the Knox County premiere of “Sex And The City 2” tonight. All Aboard Trolley and Limousine Co. and Trackside Station restaurant and bar have teamed up for this special evening. Ticket holders will be picked up in a luxury limousine or trolley between 5 and 5:30 p.m. The first stop will be Trackside Station, at 4 Union St., for a pre-party. Your ticket includes two cocktails from a “Sex and the City 2” drink menu, which will certainly include cosmopolitans, as well as a variety of special hors d’oeuvres. From Trackside, ticket holders will take a ride around the city before arriving at the red carpet at Flagship Cinemas in Thomaston for the “Sex And The City 2” screening at 7:35 p.m. Admission to the movie is included and guests will be escorted to reserved seating.

After the movie, it is limo and trolley time once again, cruising around downtown Rockland. Passengers will be dropped off back at Trackside Station for a fun-filled “Bradshaw Bash” Ladies Night with free touch tunes and drink specials. There will be free transportation for ticket holders for those needing a ride home during the night. The all-inclusive package is $55 a ticket. Reserve yours today by e-mailing Jim@meetthefleet.com or calling 691-9300. For more on the limousines and trolleys visit www.meetthefleet.com.
