OLD TOWN – Murilla M. Dionne, 95, died peacefully May 27, 2010, at a Howland health care facility. She was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Van Buren, a daughter of Joseph and Aurore (Violette) Michaud. Murilla was a devoted Catholic and liked to sew. She was employed by a dentist and clothing store in Old Town and then moved to Massachusetts and worked in nursing homes owned by her brother and sister in Waltham, Mass., and Quincy, Mass. Returning to Maine, she was employed by Augusta Mental Health and did elder care services in Lewiston. When her health started to fail, she returned to Old Town to live with her son. She is survived by her son, Wayne Dionne and his wife, Betty Ann, of Old Town; grandchildren, Cheryl St. Louis and her husband, Steve, of Milford, Scott Dionne and wife, Lisa, of Milford, Kim Ivey and her husband, Richard, of Warren and Mark Dionne of Bangor; two great-grandchildren, Valerie Dionne and William Ivey; sisters, Theresa Chavarie of Skowhegan and Lucille Hemberg of Florida; brother, Leon Michaud of Glenburn; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Ralph Michaud; and two sisters, Lorraine Bosse and Mildred Gordon. There will be no formal funeral services. Burial will be at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn.
