CORINTH – Matthew C. “Marty” Miller, 77, husband of Lucille (Botting) Miller, went to meet his eternal reward Sunday, May 30, 2010, at his home. He was born in 1933, in Milford, the son of Donald and Alice (Tibbetts) Miller. Marty loved his home in Maine. He enjoyed his favorite pastime, watching ball games and being outside “digging in the dirt,” and could fix about anything with duct tape. Surviving are his wife of 54 years of Corinth; three children, Marty Miller and his wife, Laurie, of Kokomo, Ind., Kevin Miller and his wife, Marie, of Bangor, and Cathy Tarleton and her husband, Greg, of Fair Play, S.C.; his wonderful eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who were the loves of his life; and two brothers, Thomas Miller of Old Orchard Beach, and Albert Miller and his wife, Joyce, of Bradley. He was predeceased by his parents, three sisters and one brother. He will be remembered by his faithful friends, Bob and Nancy Vachon. Family and friends may visit 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer, where a service honoring his life will be held 11 a.m. with pastor Dalton Dunfee, presiding.
