BANGOR and OLD TOWN – Corwin J. “Cory” Libby, 17, died unexpectedly May 30, 2010. He was born in 1993, the son of Ralph D. and D’Arcy (Davis) Libby. Cory, as he was known, was a student at Old Town High School. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor, where he had been active in the youth ministry and as an altar server. He was also involved in Bangor youth sports. Cory enjoyed fishing and volunteering at Bangor Humane Society. Surviving are his parents of Bangor; two brothers, James and Christian Libby, both of Bangor; his biological mother, Maria Frazee of Stockton Springs and two biological sisters, Davina and Brianna; a stepgrandmother, Shirley Libby of Bangor; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Jake Libby; and his grandparents, Lloyd Libby, Theresa and Harold Davis. Family and friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bangor. Burial will be at a later date.
