WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Leon F. Conary, 71, died Feb. 20, 2010, at home in Winter Haven, Fla. He was born Dec. 1, 1938, in Rockland, son of Iris and Forrest Conary. He is survived by his very good friend, John McGarvey; son, Wayne and wife, Dolly; sister, Alice and husband, Owen Gross; brother, Norman Withee and wife, Joyce; grandchildren, Shawn, Heidi and June; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Janice Cole and Jeanette Staples. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. June 12 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor, with Pastor George L. Hodgkins Jr. officiating. Family and friends are invited.
