LINCOLN – Monica M. Jandreau, 78, went to be with the Lord, June 5, 2010, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born March 13, 1932, in St. Perpetue, Canada, daughter of Alcide and Amanda LaCombe. Monica was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all that walked through her door. She was a very faithful servant of her Lord. Monica was the oldest daughter of 16 siblings. She enjoyed playing card games and marbles with her family and friends. In addition to her loving companion, Jake Crocker, she is survived by five children, Brenda and Elmer Robinson, Therese and Norman Adams, Marybelle and Roger Powers, Gary and Tanya Jandreau, and Danny Jandreau; and eight grandchildren, Anthony Robinson, Adam and Stacie Robinson, Melissa and Scott Hesseltine, Celina and Jason Curtis, Dwayne Bishop, Jamie and Dolly Powers, Travis Jandreau, and Danni Jandreau. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Jandreau; an infant baby girl, Amanda Jandreau; her parents, Alcide and Amanda Lacombe; and her stepmother, Matilda Lacombe. There will be no services.
