HOULTON – Phyllis Briggs, 75, died peacefully June 6, 2010, at her home. She was born Nov. 10, 1934, in Littleton, the daughter of Bert and Georgia (Bailey) Briggs. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Florence Briggs of Houlton; two brothers, James Briggs and his wife, Delores, of Littleton, and Frank Briggs of Monticello; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Margaret; and two brothers, Alvin and Morrison. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Monticello Village Cemetery with the Rev.
