    At Bucksport, Evan Eldridge hit a double, two singles and drove in three runs while picking up the win on the mound to lift No. 2 Bucksport over No. 10 Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln.

Tyler French and Cody Farrell each had three singles and three runs scored for the Golden Bucks. Tim Nason hit an RBI single and scored a run.

Nick L’Italien hit two singles and knocked in two runs for the Lynx. Lance Bernier and Tyler Tash both had two singles and a run. Donnie Russell singled and scored.

At Dyer Brook, Cody Robinson raced home from second and made a diving head-first slide around the catcher’s tag to give No. 3 Southern Aroostook the victory over No. 6 Wisdom in eight innings.

Robinson drew a walk, attempted to steal second and advanced when the throw went into center field.

Travis Casey sparked the Warriors with a two-run home run and single. Robinson added an RBI single.

Dustin Guerrette doubled and singled for the Pioneers of St. Agatha and Tyler Corriveau singled twice.

    At Eastport, Tim Barnes knocked in three runs with two doubles and struck out six in three innings of relief as the top-seeded Tigers advanced.

Barnes’ two-run double sparked a three-run sixth that gave Shead some breathing room. Tom Collins doubled, singled and scored three runs while John Garnett doubled and singled.

Harold Lyons singled and scored and Terrell Carver singled during a two-run fourth for No. 9 Jonesport-Beals.

Central Aroostook 16, Machias 11
    At Mars Hill, Logan McLaughlin hit two of the afternoon’s six home runs as second-seeded Central Aroostook defeated No. 7 Machias on a windy day.

Garrett Stiles had a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly for the Panthers. Dan Brewer hit a solo home run and a sacrifice fly. Logan Thomas had a double and two singles and Brendan York added two singles and two RBIs.

Sam Whitney had two singles and a two-run homer to pace the Bulldogs. Philip Morse hit a two-run home run and Jacob Scovlle totaled two singles and two RBIs.

Evan Rollins had two doubles, a single, an RBI and a run scored for the Mariners. Haskell added another single.

Cody Cunningham paced the Cougars with a two-run double in the fourth inning. Jesse McNally had a sacrifice fly.

    At Calais, Josh Gillespie led off the seventh inning with a single, then stole his way to third and scored the only run on a balk to lead No. 3 Calais to victory over No. 6 Searsport.

Sophomore Adam Geel pitched a one-hit shutout with one walk and eight strikeouts for the Blue Devils. Jesse Clark singled and stole second in the fifth before being picked off.

Righthander Evan Kingsbury allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out eight for Searsport. He also had a two-out single in the firth.

    At Dover-Foxcroft, Tyler Eddy singled, stole second base and scampered home on Phil Benoit’s RBI single as the eighth-ranked Red Riots upset top seed Foxcroft Academy in 11 innings.

The Riots took a 4-3 lead in the eighth on Brandon LeVasseur’s RBI single, but the Ponies countered in the bottom half on an RBI base hit by Josiah Richard.
Charlie Boyle contributed two singles for Orono while Anthony Cyr had an RBI double and RBI single.

Richard added an RBI single in the third for the Ponies while Ian Champeon and Cody Coiley doubled.
