BEALS – Carl W. Beal, 67, went to rest to be with his Lord June 9, 2010, at the home of his daughter after a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was born Feb. 9, 1943, in Cape Elizabeth, the son of Joseph and Ada Beal. He made his home in Beals for 40 years with his wife, Delanie. Through their many years of marriage they had three daughters, Melissa and husband, Curtis, Lisa and fiance, Kevin, and Atrisha and fiance, Eric. He was a member of Grand Lodge No. 188 AF & AM, Jonesport, for many years. He worked as a lobster fisherman for many years and retired in 2001 due to health issues. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved being with his great-grandson, Joey, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his sister, Lucille Tibbetts of Beals; his three daughters; his two granddaughters, Megan and her husband, David, and Jillian; his two great-grandchildren, Joseph Carl-Curtis and Jordan Delanie; several sisters and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife in 2004; his son in 1964; his parents, grandparents, two brothers and one sister. You will be missed dearly Daddy. We love you! As you hold me close in memory, even though we are apart, my spirit will live on in the heaven of your heart. I am with you always.
