LILY BAY – Harold B. Stade, 90, beloved husband of Betty, died June 11, 2010. He was born March 31, 1920, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne 505 parachute regiment during World War II. He was a well-known sign painter and artist in the Moosehead area. He was the oldest member of Maine-iacs at Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center, to participate in the “Golden Age Games,” winning gold and silver medals. He is survived by three sisters, eight children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Greenville Chapel of Crosby & Neal, located at the Masonic Building, Pritham Avenue, Greenville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, at Greenville Chapel. Burial will be at Shirley Cemetery.
