GREENBUSH and HOWLAND – Kourtney L. Murray, 24, wife of James Murray, died June 15, 2010, in an automobile accident in West Enfield. She was born Feb. 20, 1986, in Portland, the daughter of Raymond A. Grindle Jr. and Linda E. (Springer) Grindle. Kourtney loved her husband dearly. She loved her pets, was a wonderful artist and a good singer. She enjoyed karaoke and dancing. She loved children and her family. She was always happy and smiling. She enjoyed spending time with her mother-in-law, Tina; and her cousin, Crissy. In addition to her father, Raymond of Howland; her mother, Linda of Bucksport; and her husband, James of Greenbush, she is survived by a sister, Katie M Boobar and her husband, Lucas, of Howland; paternal grandmother, Muriel Grindle of Howland; maternal grandmother, Virginia Downs of Lincoln; aunt and uncle, Wendy and Kevin Parent and cousins, Michael, Anthony and Christopher, all of Old Town; aunt and uncle, Pauline and Joe LeClair and cousins, Tyla Crocker and Dylan LeClair, all of Howland; aunts, Shannon and Heather Carter of Lynnwood, Wash.; aunt and uncle, Amy and Al Blanchard and cousin, Abbey, of Orrington; aunt and uncle, Melissa and Paul Springer and cousin, Shayleigh, of Augusta; aunt, Colleen Clough and cousins, Stormey Clough and Shayne Dill, all of Lincoln; and sister-in-law, Jessica Murray and nieces, Callysta and Aubrey Trygrocki. She was “Mummy” to her pets, Cleopatra Jane and Rex Munchkin. She was predeceased by her grandfathers; great-grandmother, Muriel Spearin; infant twin sister, Ashley Jean; and nephew, Kagan Matthew Boobar. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday with Emma Jean Cook officiating.
