MACHIAS – Suzanne “Sue” Shean Stover, 56, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, in Bangor. She was born April 10, 1954, in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Harry “Dick” and Dorothy (Wilkins) Shean. She is survived by her loving husband, Kent, for whom she was his life and his rock. She will be forever missed. Her great joys included gardening in her beautiful flowers, winning the war on ant invasion, watching her grandchildren grow and hunting for moose while capturing the world behind the lens of a camera. She spent countless hours at the camp on Clifford Lake watching loons and enjoying life. (Tanks Dave). In addition to her parents of Crystal and husband of Whitneyville, she will be dearly missed by her four children and families, Nichole Greaves and her husband, Gregg, of Bar Harbor and their children, Kyle, Cole and Jaiden, Nathan Clement and his wife, Noleen, and their children, Nikhita, Nariska and baby of Kennesaw, Ga., Danielle Plummer and her husband, Jon, of East Machias and Jessica Stover Ackley and her husband, Colin, and their children, Evan, Ethan and Emma of East Machias; brothers, Justin Shean of Crystal and Faron Shean of Windham; and sisters, Patricia Butler of Island Falls and Bridgit Vetter and her husband, Ralph, and their children, Andy, Sam and Sophie of Patten. She was predeceased by one brother, Bret; uncle, Ralph Socia; her grandson, Brett; and a very special cousin, Gary. At Sue’s request, there will be a small graveside gathering of the family and close friends 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Crystal Cemetery with the Rev. Peter Main officiating.
