MERRILL – Lawrence W. Hardy Sr., 51, died June 19, 2010, at his residence. He was born Oct. 2, 1958, in Island Falls, the son of Lawrence A. and Alta E. (Splan) Hardy. Larry served in the U.S. Navy. He was a very hard worker spending long days driving truck for Herb Hardy. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and granddaughter, who always put a smile on his face. Larry is survived by his son, Lawrence W. Hardy, II of Merrill; his daughter, Natasha Hardy and her fianc?, Josh Locke, of Oakfield; granddaughter, Sophia; a grandchild on the way; two brothers, Dean Hardy and his wife, Susan, of Merrill and Rocky Hardy of Old Town; four sisters, Madeline Cottle and her husband, Jim, of Sebec, Marlene Boutilier and her husband, Dale, of Oakfield, Ida Jenkins and her husband, Charlie, of Old Town and Marcia Siltz and her husband, Richard, of South Paris; his very special friend, Robin Robinson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Judy Hardy. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday.
