OMAHA, Neb. – Rosemary “Mary” Garland Gammell, 82, died June 20, 2010. She was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Bangor, to Andrew and Zelma Garland. She was an active member for more than 40 years to Bethel No. 69 of the International Order of Jobs Daughters, a member of Sat-Ra Temple, Daughter of the Nile, a member of ACBL – Bridge, and AK-SAR-BEN Chapter Star No. 277. She was predeceased by husband, Vernon Gammell; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Richard Newton of Bradshaw, Neb.; son, Dale Gammell and Faith Martenson of Omaha, Neb.; one brother, one sister, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many dear friends. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday with family greeting friends 5-7 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, Omaha, Neb. Interment will be at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, Omaha, Neb. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9302 Blondo St., Omaha, Neb. Memorials may be given to the family for future donation.
