BANGOR – Sue Ellen Perkins passed away peacefully June 21, 2010, at home. She was born July 1, 1968, in Bangor, the daughter of William G. and Judith Smith Perkins She graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School, Bangor, in 1986, and Emerson College, Boston, in 1990. For more than four years, Brewer Federal Credit Union, Brewer, employed Sue Ellen, with recent previous employment at Webber Energy Fuels and American Red Cross. Sue Ellen is survived by her brother, Scott Perkins and his wife, Danielle, and their sons, William and Daniel Perkins of Hermon; her aunt, Kathie Smith of Houlton; her dear friends, Chip and Bethany McKnight and their sons, Elijah and Gideon McKnight of Orrington; her many friends and their children who will lovingly remember their “Auntie Sue.” Sue Ellen was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Clifford and Etta Smith of Bangor; and paternal grandparents, Thelma Perkins of Farmingdale and William Perkins of Somerville, Mass. A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 30, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. James L. Haddix, pastor and teacher of All Souls Congregational Church, Bangor, officiating. The Perkins family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at Garden Ridge Farm, 2330 Ohio St., Bangor.
