EASTPORT – Herman Richard “Richie” Robertson, 77, passed away June 30, 2010, at Calais Regional Hospital. He was born July 9, 1932, in Boston, to Lindsay and M. Beatrice Robertson. Richie served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After completing his tour of duty, he enlisted with the Marines and completed another term. Richie married Carolyn J. Suddy, Feb. 9, 1957. Richie is survived by his wife, Carolyn; brother, Ernest; six children, 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, at Hillside Cemetery, Eastport.
