FRENCHVILLE and FORT KENT – Marie S. Rossignol, 93, died June 30, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Frenchville. She was born June 17, 1917, in Wallagrass, daughter of Paul and Thalie (Madore) Ayotte. Marie was a member of Fort Kent Columbiettes. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Marie Dube of Bristol, Conn.; two grandsons, Paul J. Dube of Windsor, Conn., and Michael J. Dube and his wife, Sandra, of Bristol, Conn.; three great-grandchildren, Chantel Dube and William Dube, both of Asteen, Fla., and Christina Spann of Bristol, Conn; two great-great-grandchildren, Stephanie Bogazis and Cody Dube; sister-in-law, Viola Ayotte of Bristol, Conn.; a dear granddaughter-in-law, Diane (Dube) Stone of Lauder Lake, Fla.; several special nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to both her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul F. Rossignol, in 1995; one brother, Gilman Ayotte; one half brother, Josephel Ayotte; several more brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren, Belone Dube III and Debora Dube Bogazis. Friends may call 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday, July 7, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be after in the parish cemetery.
