BANGOR – Logan Rogerson slammed a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to lift Brewer to a 7-6 win over Bangor West in a District 3 baseball game for ages 11-12 Tuesday.
Jared Austin led off the sixth with a single and scored on Rogerson’s homer.
Matt Pushard chipped in with a double and single for Brewer and Dylan Severence added a two-run double. Tyler Friel and Matt Crockett each contributed with a double.
Matt Robinson and Jake Wilson each doubled and drove in two runs for Bangor West.

At Old Town, D.J. Monteith hit a two-run home run, a double and a single as Old Town eliminated Sebasticook.
Chris Binette allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine to earn the victory for Old Town. Andrew Miller had a single and a solo homer.
Sebasticook’s Ray Girrior scored Alex Baird from first on a single in the third.

Lukas Cropley hit an RBI single to pace Lincoln. Duncan McIntyre knocked in a run in the fourth.

At Mansfield Stadium, Bangor, Zack Miller tripled and scored in the bottom of the seventh off a Patric Quimby single to lift Old Town over Hermon.
Quimby singled twice and knocked in two runs while picking up the win in relief by recording two outs with the bases loaded.
Hermon’s Ben Wheeler doubled and knocked in a run. Tyler Thayer and Andrew Elston also doubled.
